March 1, 2022
Dear Wisconsin LGBTQ+ Family,
With deep regret, we must announce the cancellation of the 2022 Wisconsin LGBTQ Summit due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Although the impacts of COVID-19 appear to be lessening, there are still too many variables to safely convene the Summit, which is typically held each March. While we are saddened by this delayed opportunity to reunite with our community, it is critically important that we focus on everyone’s health and well-being. We are currently looking at dates in March 2023 and will keep the community informed.
In Solidarity,
Diverse & Resilient and Fair Wisconsin Education Fund
The Wisconsin LGBTQ Summit is focused on building a more skilled and connected network of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer (LGBTQ), and allied individuals who are empowered to achieve and protect LGBTQ equality in their local communities across the state of Wisconsin.
At the Summit, you can:
- deepen your understanding of issues facing the LGBTQ community;
- network with others in our community from across the state;
- learn what organizations and individuals are doing to advance health, safety, fairness, and inclusion in the LGBTQ community in Wisconsin; and
- join efforts to ensure LGBTQ protections in Wisconsin.
Join established and emerging leaders, activists, advocates, community members, and allies from throughout Wisconsin for a day of learning and networking.
