Dear WI LGBTQ Summit Attendees, Presenters, and Sponsors:
We are canceling the 2020 Wisconsin LGBTQ Summit scheduled for March 28th, 2020 in Milwaukee as a result of the continued spread of the coronavirus.
Recently, the Wisconsin State Department of Health Services (DHS) recommended that all non-essential gatherings of 250 or more people be cancelled or postponed state wide to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19, a recommendation we are following.
This has not been an easy decision, since events like ours are spaces for folx in the LGBTQ community and their allies to gather and hold community with each other, but we understand that health concerns take precedence.
We will gladly provide registration refunds, please send your refund request to dcarr@diverseandresilient.org . And please do what you must to remain healthy.
In Solidarity,
Diverse and Resilient and Fair Wisconsin.
